a Alan Landers, MHRD   President & Founder Alan Landers, President and Founder of FirstStep Talent Management Consulting, has over 30 years experience in the fields of OD, HR, and T&D.  He started as a trainer for the United States Air Force at the School of Applied Cryptological Sciences in the early 1970s. In 1978, he began his OD consulting career with the City of San Diego’s OD and Training Department.  After moving to the private sector, he advanced through the T&D ranks to become Vice President, Director of T&D and also held the position of VP of Performance Management responsible for all aspects of T&D as well as strategic planning, executive development and talent management. In 1989, Alan started FirstStep Training & Consulting and began his career as an independent consultant. (View professional bio) A Ghazal Hosseini, MA, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Associate Consultant Ghazal is an Associate Consultant with FirstStep Performance consulting.  She received her MA in 2008 and has worked with Alan on a number of projects including developing competency maps, job descriptions, and determining training and development needs since 2007.  As an Associate Consultant, she is now assisting in the design and development of new workshops and webinars on strategic HR, virtual teams, and consulting best practices.  Ghazal's strengths are in research and statistical analysis and will be developing assessment instruments to support FirstStep workshops and webinars.
